Job Overview:
The Senior Property Operations Manager provides high-quality management services to a diverse portfolio of rental and commercial properties on behalf of investor clients.
Success in this role involves building long-term relationships with clients by maximizing their return on investment while maintaining harmonious relationships with tenants and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of properties, delivering excellent property management services.
- Regularly interact with client owners to inform and educate them about their property and address tenant concerns.
- Prepare and execute client agreements for property management.
- Negotiate and approve rental and lease agreements and ensure obligations are fulfilled.
- Prepare annual property budgets, authorize spending, and track budget variances.
- Coordinate large renovation projects.
- Liaise with site staff to prioritize repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
- E nsure work performed adheres to safety standards for tenants, staff, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience as a leasing agent or property manager managing different types and sizes of properties and various client situations.
- Adept at using property accounting systems, building management software, and keen to implement new technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset with superior written and oral communication skills.
- Strong understanding of building systems and operations.
- Highly efficient, organized, and skilled at time management.
