Northwestern Polytechnic is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes and supporting the strategic direction of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR guidance and support to leaders, staff, and faculty on human resources requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Liaise with unions and associations to champion and implement changes across the institution.
  • Assist with collective bargaining preparation and support the bargaining team.
  • Counsel managers on documentation and progressive discipline processes.
  • Investigate and respond to employee concerns and issues.
  • Provide HR expertise in talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Conduct research and surveys to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement an institution-wide recruitment strategy.
