Job Summary

The Eldorado Tools and Manufacturing Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Technician to join our team. As a Payroll Technician, you will be responsible for preparing statements of earnings for employees, storing and updating financial data, and performing human resources related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans.
  • Financial Data Management: Store, update and retrieve financial data, and maintain payroll records.
  • Human Resources Support: Perform human resources related duties such as personnel selection, and complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements, and compile statistics and reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
