Join our team at Sunrise Montessori School as an Early Childhood Education Assistant. As a valued member of our staff, you will be working closely with early childhood educators to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week. We are looking for someone who is passionate about childcare and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining daycare equipment, supporting early childhood educators in program implementation, and keeping accurate records. They will also engage children in activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development, prepare snacks, and ensure a safe and organized learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of daycare spaces.
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Assist in preparing materials and resources for activities.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Prepare healthy snacks for children.
  • Keep accurate records of child progress and attendance.
What We Offer
