Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Village Children's Programs. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes learning and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-12 years
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Assess children's development and prepare reports for parents and guardians
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
Requirements:
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
