Dual Fabrication & Welding Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder Helper to join our team. As a Welder Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our welders in the fabrication and cleaning of metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles as needed.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in metal fabrication and cleaning is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Working Conditions:

The Welder Helper will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to metal dust, noise, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
