Clinical Social Worker Opportunity at Canadian Health Labs

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Social Worker to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis at Canadian Health Labs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical work in a supportive and friendly environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering clinical work with youth, young adults, couples, and families. Key duties include:

  • Delivery of High-Quality Clinical Work: Grounded in Mindfulness Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), ensuring exceptional patient care.
  • Maintenance of Required Documentation: Accurate and timely documentation of clinical sessions and interactions, including case notes.
  • Adherence to Professional Ethics: Compliance with the code of ethics outlined by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be willing to provide in-person appointments at our office and offer therapy services to individuals, families, and groups when needed or requested.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work/Psychology from a recognized educational institution.
  • Foundational training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
  • Registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
  • Experience in clinical social work/mental health counselling.
  • Competency working with children, adolescents, or adults individually, couples, or families.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and interprofessional teamwork skills.

Compensation Package:

Canadian Health Labs offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
