Bioriginal, a global leader in nutritional innovation, is seeking a skilled HR/Payroll Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR and payroll functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and running reports, data entry, and other Payroll/HR related administrative tasks. They will also provide back-up support to assist with running payroll and complete payroll in the absence of the Payroll and Benefits Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all administrative tasks associated with onboarding, job changes, wage changes, and offboarding, including HRIS system updates, benefits portal updates, and IT updates.
  • Ensure new employees are enrolled in benefits and pension programs.
  • Complete employee updates and maintain accurate employee files.
  • Prepare and submit WCB reports and documentation as required.
  • Provide oversight to site security administration, including key management and scan card setup/access.
  • Assist with policy reviews, modifications, and training logistics.
  • Update HR and safety forms as required for internal use.
  • Develop and maintain fillable forms and e-sign forms/packages.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, both physical and electronic.
  • Provide administrative support for various implementations and projects to improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of previous administration experience, preferably in human resources and/or payroll.
  • Previous payroll processing experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • High level of experience and competency utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
  • Related post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Proven ability to effectively work with confidential information.
