Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at DIRECT-WAY TRANSPORT LTD. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with trucks, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Truck Mechanic or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) as required.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment.
