Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at NORTHLAND PROPERTIES CORPORATION. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
- Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Negotiate offers from suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices and terms.
- Consult with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
- Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules.
- Monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any problems.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
