About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at DARI CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate execution
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation
    • Read and interpret welding blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Work Environment
    • Permanent position
    • English language of work
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
