Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at BC BETON CONTRACTING LTD.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction project coordination and possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise subcontractors.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
  • Plan and manage budgets, including directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs and risk management plans.
  • Oversee data analysis and prepare reports to stakeholders.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and varying work conditions. They must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project coordination.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
