Ora Mining Ltd. is a gold producer with a diversified asset base, experienced management team and a high-quality board and shareholder base.

We operate the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine in Central Mexico, which is 100% owned by Orla. This operation covers over 139,000 hectares and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources.

We are advancing permitting on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. We have also entered into an agreement with Newmont Corporation to acquire the Musselwhite Mine in Northern Ontario.

About the Role

This role will be based at the regional office in Thunder Bay and will be responsible for managing the site's finance, accounting and treasury-related activities. The role will support the Tax and FP&A functions ensuring accurate, consistent and timely financial reporting requirements are delivered to Corporate and third-party stakeholders.

The responsibilities include directing and managing processes and practices across the site to ensure the delivery of timely and relevant financial data to internal stakeholders. Oversees analysis of historical and future cost information for site management to make informed decisions. Oversees preparation of local statutory financial statements and coordinates with local external auditors to ensure timely reporting and compliance.

Supports business planning activities for the site by coordinating budget process quality review. Manages record keeping for all capital assets to ensure they are properly valued, identified, tagged, depreciated and periodically inventoried. Oversees establishment and implementation of accounting standards, procedures and policies ensuring alignment across the site and with Corporate.

Manages sales and receivables and SOX compliance functions. Manages financial reporting for exploration and development projects. Manages Accounts Payable processes. Works closely with site teams. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
