Job Title: Bookkeeping Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Killam Bottle Depot. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Payroll Preparation: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance and other statistical reports.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Skills: Accurate, dependable, organized, and attention to detail.
