Role Overview
The Corporate Philanthropy & Data Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Resource Development team in the strategic formulation and execution of the annual Resource Development Plan. This position is accountable for nurturing relationships with workplace accounts, which includes identifying prospects, fostering connections, soliciting contributions, and maintaining stewardship of accounts. Furthermore, this role entails planning, executing, and assisting with specific fundraising initiatives and events. The position also provides CRM support for the Resource Development team and the Finance department.

You will collaborate with campaign colleagues to evaluate data from previous years and set priorities, identify prospects, and pinpoint areas for philanthropic expansion. You will oversee and enhance an assigned portfolio, establishing mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders to boost revenue and uncover potential opportunities. Detailed records for workplace and corporate accounts will be meticulously maintained, and assistance will be provided for workplace campaigns and private sector accounts.

In terms of CRM support, you will ensure precise data entry, which includes gift processing, pledge management, and donor acknowledgments. You will aid in upholding the integrity of the system's data, coordinate with Finance for data reconciliation, and provide support for donor research and engagement. Regular monitoring of accounts and reporting any issues will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications
Job Specifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in the non-profit sector
- Background in fundraising is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software
- Possession of a vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Clear criminal records check
