Job Summary

The Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in the production team at Authentix. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position involves operating, maintaining, and providing operational support for vacuum coating, UV casting, and other equipment.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems, such as motor controllers and PLCs, to ensure optimal performance and minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and support vacuum coating, UV casting, and other relevant systems.
  • Perform roll coater cleaning and preparation procedures to ensure optimal performance and adherence to scheduled cycle times.
  • Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot electrical issues in roll coaters and other equipment, including motor controllers, wiring, and circuit breakers.
  • Program, update, and maintain PLC systems, documenting all changes to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process enhancements and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or an equivalent certification or qualification, and a minimum of 2-3 years of engineering experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including motor controllers, PLCs, ladder logic PLC programs, electrical wiring, and circuit breakers.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic issues in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project, Teams, and Outlook.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
