Senior Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage our maintenance team in Hamilton. This role will focus on maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including cube vans, trailers, roll-off trucks, and tractors. The Senior Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for hands-on work, managing apprentices, and ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise apprentices and other maintenance team members, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all vehicles meet or exceed safety and performance standards by completing M5 inspections and addressing any defects or issues promptly.
- Manage and close work orders to maintain accurate service records, track maintenance history, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and tools are in good working order and easily accessible.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a 310T mechanic with a proven track record of success in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Hold a valid 310T license and a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
- Possess a personal set of tools and reliable transportation to and from the Hamilton location.
