About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Creaform Engineering, a business unit of AMETEK Inc. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and simulating electrical systems for various industries, including transportation, motorsports, aerospace, technology, defense, and energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including circuits, systems, and components
  • Analyze customer needs and translate them into system specifications and performance requirements
  • Build and maintain technical project files, including documentation and specifications
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with standards
  • Communicate technical requirements with clients and project stakeholders
  • Involve suppliers in the development of technical solutions
  • Provide technical support to designers and engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical drawing software, such as AutoCad Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, SEE Electrical, EPlan, CATIA (cable and harness module)
  • Eligible for the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Member an asset)
  • Passionate about design, electrical engineering, and technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills in French
