About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at AMETEK. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and control panels for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and control panels
  • Produce power and control circuit diagrams and materials lists
  • Design and draw diagrams to manufacture control panels
  • Select electrical power and control components
  • Draft design files and keep them updated, including calculations, testing, verifications, validations, costs, and approvals
Requirements
  • Hold a DEC in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of two years or more of relevant experience in product development and systems integration in a manufacturing environment
  • Relevant experience in low and medium power systems integration (12 to 600 Volts)
  • Good knowledge of electrical design software, such as E-Plan, AutoCAD, or other
  • Be independent, resourceful, and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Must speak French and a little English
  • Is mobile to work with clients
