We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/L.P. in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
The successful candidate will work in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment environment, exposed to noisy, odorous, dusty, and cold/refrigerated conditions.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- Or equivalent experience
The position requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity.
Security and SafetyA criminal record check is required for this position.
Transportation and TravelThe successful candidate must have their own transportation.
Financial BenefitsAs per collective agreement.
