Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team at GL Economique. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing telecommunications equipment, analyzing test results, and adjusting or replacing faulty systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • System Analysis: Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software to resolve technical issues.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and accuracy.
Work Environment
  • Work Site Environment: Confined spaces.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
