About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, define, and translate functional and technical specifications into test requirements.
  • Design, build, and review global testing strategies.
  • Design and develop test cases for various components of the system.
  • Attend Agile project ceremonies to report on test status, communicate problems, and implement QA standards.
  • Ensure customer needs are met with the highest quality.
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for projects.
  • Identify and implement QA best practices.
  • Create test plans and test traceability matrices for project requirements.
  • Log and manage defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to IT or equivalent education and experience.
  • Five to eight years of experience in IT Quality Assurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of test best practices and test development tools.
  • Thorough understanding of Oracle ERP applications and modules.
  • Experience with Excel SmartView and pivot tables.
  • Good knowledge of Confluence and JIRA (and its Test plugin).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
