Job Title: Boom Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Boom Crane Operator to join our team at Foundation Building Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating boom cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate boom cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Measure weight and prepare for rigging and hoisting
  • Clean and lubricate cranes to maintain optimal performance
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Rig and hoist equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a boom crane operator
  • Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification
Work Environment:

As a boom crane operator, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights. You must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
