Job Overview


The successful candidate will join our dynamic team as a Data Analytics Specialist for the Pipe Integrity department. This role involves working closely with data & digital teams to streamline execution of pipe integrity programs, prioritize work activities, and develop actionable repeatable, sustainable reporting.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines
  • SUPPORT OUR STAKEHOLDER TEAMS RESPONSIBLY USING APPLIED DATA AND ANALYTICS USING ANALYTICS TOOLS
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support the implementation of data governance and compliance measures.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Degreed Engineers must be registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA in good standing
  • Applicants without an Engineering degree but with significant relevant experience may be considered for the Technologist or Analyst job ladder.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience.
  • Strong oral and written business communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Highly motivated individual with intermediate analytical skills, who can work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be results-oriented with a drive to explore new technologies and value-added opportunities for the organization.
  • Requires ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated with proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year


Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level and/or ladder.
