Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team as a Senior Living Care Professional (Part Time). As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical procedures.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop personalized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in senior care.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in Prince Edward Island or another Canadian province.
- Experience working with seniors and their families, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional care and service.
