Job Summary
As a Retail Store Supervisor at Frontenac Convenience Store, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage inventory and sales volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train sales staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales and profit goals
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales or management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets

Tasks
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Manage cash
