Acosta, a leading company in the retail industry, is seeking a Merchandiser General to join our team. As a Merchandiser General, you will be responsible for ensuring that our retail partners' stores are visually appealing and well-stocked with products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement planograms and visual merchandising strategies to enhance the in-store experience.
- Manage and maintain product displays, including arranging products on shelves and ensuring that they are facing the correct direction.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor product levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback to store staff.
- Collaborate with store staff to ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and staff to ensure that our products are being displayed effectively.
- Provide training and support to store staff on merchandising techniques and product knowledge.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports to track sales performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
