Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Business Law Instructor to join our team at triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. in Toronto Southwest campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and facilitating courses to classes of international students in the Global Business Management Post-Graduate Certificate Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and deliver curricula to international students in an instructor-led environment.
  • Teach and facilitate courses to classes of international students in the Global Business Management Post-Graduate Certificate Program.
  • Evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments.
  • Assist with activities to support student success, including student internship and job placement, industry liaison, and administrative functions.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Lawyer or Law Clerk is required, ideally with experience in corporate and international law.
  • Lawyers must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • A master's degree is considered an asset.
  • A degree or diploma in adult education is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
  • Teaching experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another Learning Management System is considered an asset.
