About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MB Sudbury Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality standards, and that customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare and submit budgets and reports to management to ensure that we are operating within budget and meeting our financial targets.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Work Environment

Our food service department is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
