Warehouse Operations Manager

About This Opportunity
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, overseeing the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and coach their team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Coach and mentor employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with unionized employees and the supervisory team.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in projects and tasks to improve warehouse operations and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP computer tools.
