We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics and Modelling team at Canadian Tire Financial Services. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data science solutions to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain advanced analytics models to support retail business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data science projects
- Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support AI/ML solutions
- Provide data-driven insights to business stakeholders to inform strategic decisions
- M.S or PhD in Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on retail analytics
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication and presentation skills
