About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data science solutions to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain advanced machine learning models to analyze customer behavior and preferences.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that improve business outcomes.
  3. Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to identify trends and patterns in customer data.
  4. Develop and maintain data pipelines to support AI/ML model deployment.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.

Requirements

  • M.S or PhD in Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
  • Experience with cloud-based data structures and tools such as Databricks and Azure Synapse.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
