Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living's standards of care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each resident are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Monitor and analyze clinical performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in resident care.
- Current provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience, with at least one (1) year experience in long-term care or senior living.
- Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in nursing management.
- Strong clinical expertise, with a focus on gerontology and long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on resident-centered care.
