Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at The Grand Canal Retirement Residence. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and conduct specimen collection
  • Ensure infection control and observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects
  • Take vital signs and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
