Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Mary Homes Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to children and youth in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs.
  • Implement life skills workshops and behaviour management programs to support client development.
  • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services, and provide individual and group counselling sessions as needed.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, and provide support with daily living tasks such as housekeeping and food preparation.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
