Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Mary Homes Inc. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children and youth in our care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This will involve developing and implementing personalized care plans, providing guidance and mentorship, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children and youth, including daily living skills, education, and recreation activities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care)
  • Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a group home or residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
