We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our A&H Custom Machine production team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning & Management: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements, while ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety and wellness within the production team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Accountability for Results: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Technical Processes / Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Development: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to support the growth and success of production team members.
- Financial/Budgetary Management: Manage production budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing costs.
- Education: High school diploma required; post-secondary diploma/degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of previous experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Skills: Excellent technical knowledge of standard parts, services, and processes; working knowledge of various types of tooling, materials, and machinery; good knowledge of quality systems and standards.
