Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking a highly skilled and efficient Biologics Product Monitor to support the Population & Public Health department.

The Biologics Product Monitor will work in partnership with the Regional CD Team and Biological team members, providing operational and administrative support for local NH immunization programs and Community Vaccine Providers (CVPs) access to vaccines and order schedules.

Maintaining relationships with local immunizing partners and managing vaccine inventory for each Interprofessional Team will be key responsibilities. The Biologics Product Monitor will also work in partnership with a designated backup BPM for all vaccine tasks and planning.

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Days, 08:30 to 16:30 (Rotating)

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre features 44 Acute Care beds and 124 residential beds, equipped to handle 22,000 ER visits per year. Additional highlights include:

  • An endoscopy suite and 2 state-of-the-art operating rooms
  • Ambulatory clinics, including Cancer and Hemodialysis
  • Medical and Surgical inpatient rooms and 3 Intensive care units
  • Minor surgeries and 7 single Maternity rooms

Fort St. John is known as "The Energetic City," reflecting its large resource base of oil, natural gas, forestry, and agriculture. The town overlooks the Peace River and serves as the capital of the Peace River district, with a population of over 21,400 but serving an area of approximately 70,000.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12, graduation from an Office Administration program supplemented by two (2) year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Valid BC Driver's License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage will be reimbursed
