About the Role

The Data Architect at Iron Systems will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and implementing data models and solutions for Business Intelligence Applications and systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and an overall WCB BI strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels for BI Application and subject area.
  • Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata, and take steps to assure data accuracy and validity.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders and users, and project teams, for all projects involving enterprise data, analyze user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction.
  • Develop and deploy end-user practices and tools for data extraction, queries, and data manipulation in accordance with business processes.
  • Develop and administer BI architecture for the use-case-specific modeling.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Erwin Data Modeling tool, SSIS ETL tool, Tabular cube design, data extraction, and transformation processes, etc.
