Patient Care Technician

At DaVita, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you'll work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Direct patient care, providing one-on-one attention to patients undergoing dialysis treatment
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, as well as performing other technical duties as needed
- Building long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a strong desire to enter the healthcare field and make a positive impact on the lives of others. You'll also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you'll need to be willing to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
