Job Title: Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
  • Support the sales floor team by restocking shelves, processing transactions, and handling customer returns.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store fixtures.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, and counting inventory.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
