As a key member of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation submitted to the Finance database complies with established accounting principles and University policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and processing financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Verifying documentation and supporting records to ensure adherence to University policies and procedures
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements include:
- Completion of the first year of an accounting/business program supplemented with approximately three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of integrated finance accounting systems
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
