PSTI is a renowned solution provider of high voltage design and system protection engineering. With over two decades of experience in Alberta and Western Canada, we offer expert services in planning studies, renewable and utility power facilities, and 500 kV systems.

As a Transmission Project Engineer at PSTI, you will work on the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines. This includes material procurement and construction support through line energization. You will be responsible for creating project scope documents, finite element design modeling using PLS-CADD software, and engineering design of structures and foundations.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning and executing best-in-class projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization and planning skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and experience, is required.

The successful applicant will have an advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principles, be an expert regarding applicable codes, standards, and design tools, and possess basic project management execution skills. They will also have the ability to oversee and direct design personnel on a project team. Salary is commensurate with experience and education, and benefits include paid vacation, personal days, and holidays, as well as continued professional education reimbursement and remote workplace flexibility.
