About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Security Engineer to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining physical servers, designing and testing robust security solutions, and providing support to both on-site engineers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure servers and recording pools are maintained to a high standard
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Design and implementation of security solutions
  • Carry-out and supervise planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Upgrades and system repairs
  • Modifications in line with contract requirements
  • Regular communication with the supervisor and customer on Key Point Indicators, and service level agreements
Requirements
  • Adequate knowledge of relevant British Standards with a working knowledge of NSI required standards
  • Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to resolve by elimination and/or technical recommendations
  • Knowledge and experience of permits to work systems, method statements and risk assessments
  • Advanced PC and LAN/WAN Networking skills, including OS level operation
  • Health & Safety trained
  • System design, surveying, estimating and quotation experience
  • Understanding of asset collation and controlled program of just in time replacement
