Nursing Attendant Job Description

MOUNT PLEASANT ADVANCED PHYSIOTHERAPY INC. is seeking a skilled Nursing Attendant to join our team. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Supply and empty bed pans, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health and well-being.
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting nutrition and hydration.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and precision, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, creating a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, promoting personal hygiene and dignity.
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, ensuring safe and comfortable movement.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, providing prompt and responsive care.
Requirements:
  • Efficient interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to convey information and provide support.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A team player with a patient and caring attitude.
