About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Neko Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Manage the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining the highest levels of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance of inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Staff Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Kitchen Operations: Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintaining kitchen and work areas.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position with a flexible schedule.
  • 30-44 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Work Language: English.
Compensation and Benefits
