Job Summary:
A Medical Radiation Technologist with experience in X-Ray imaging is required to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. As an Imaging Specialist, you will work closely with the Radiology Team to provide high-quality imaging services for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About the Role:
This casual position offers flexible scheduling with rotating days and evenings, including 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, and 15:30 to 23:30 shifts. There may be call associated with this position.

Casual employment means that your work hours can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities to apply for regular positions within the health authority. You may have the chance to work in multiple sites across the region, including Castlegar, Grand Forks, Nakusp, Nelson, and New Denver. Additionally, there may be opportunities to train in other modalities such as Mammography, CT, and MRI.

Your Responsibilities:
You will work with a diverse patient population in various settings, providing imaging services for trauma cases, OR procedures, Fluoroscopy, and General X-Ray procedures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and hold current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
