Hunter Amenities International is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our Production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high manufacturing efficiencies while delivering a quality product in a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to manufacturing machinery problems, troubleshoot and diagnose problems and make repairs as necessary
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
  • Service the mechanical requirements of the Packaging department, including setup, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and related repairs on plant equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of packaging line changeovers by planning and establishing timelines, reviewing tooling needs, and ensuring change parts are available and in good condition
  • Facilitate efficient line set-up and pre-run inspection by providing consultation and assistance to packaging staff and reviewing mechanical condition of line prior to startup
  • Facilitate efficient line operation by providing training, consultation, and assistance to packaging staff and reviewing ongoing packaging machine downtime
Qualifications
  • 433A Certificate
  • 1-3 years of experience as a certified 433A mechanic preferred
  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Experience in high-speed packaging equipment, fillers, cappers, labellers, coders, conveyors, and parts fabrication an asset
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and independently
