About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Nutrition'ally' organics & wellness market ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering nutrition plans for food preparation and service programs, conducting research to improve nutritional programs and food service operations, and determining the appropriate food route when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Nutrition Plans: Create and implement nutrition plans for food service programs, taking into account the nutritional needs of individuals and groups.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research to improve nutritional programs and food service operations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work with healthcare professionals to determine the nutritional treatment plan for patients suffering from malnutrition or gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Provide Nutrition Guidance and Education: Provide nutrition guidance and consultation to health professionals, community groups, government institutions, and the media.
  • Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and food service operations, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field, with 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, and reliable.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position, English language required.
