Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and coaching to the Paper Mill manufacturing team to ensure the achievement of annual operating budgets and customer specifications.
- Process Optimization: Drive the ongoing improvement and optimization of the paper machine manufacturing process to maximize production capability and efficiency.
- Health and Safety: Promote a safe working environment, support the Health & Safety Program, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with employees, management, and union representatives to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
- Operational Planning: Develop and execute operational plans to improve paper manufacturing stability and drive business growth.
- Shutdown Planning: Identify, prioritize, and support the execution of paper machine shutdown work activities to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
- Issue Resolution: Review, monitor, and guide daily issues to support operators and maintenance services in addressing production-related challenges.
- Education: College Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
- Experience: 6-9 years of experience in a related field, preferably in manufacturing or operations management.
- Language: Fluency in English, both written and spoken; French is considered an asset.
